Today we turned the tables a little bit and had Kate take over the role of the host. She got to see how my job was being the host of Extreme Health Radio. We had a lot of fun and it was funny to see her take over my little “role” here! 🙂
We talked about so many subjects it was quite amazing.
We hope you guys enjoyed this show as much as we enjoyed creating, recording and producing it for all of you to listen.
One of the first things we discussed was Kate’s insight that she had with a new friend of hers about my heart condition being related to my twin brother who diet at birth.
Apparently I was too big in the womb and ended up taking all of the nutrients and oxygen because I was so big in my mom’s womb. As a result my twin brother died at birth. I’ve been told (and Kate has too) that I’m an empath.
So it makes sense that somehow on an energetic level, I carried the grief of him dying in my heart and that’s why I was diagnosed as a teenager with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
I thought that was really interesting to hear her perspective on that as I’ve never really thought about that before.
We also talked about how powerful the placebo effect is on the body and how it can have a lot to do with how much we’re able to heal, if at all. It’s really quite astounding how powerful the placebo effect is. I really don’t think we take into consideration the power of the placebo affect. The mind is incredibly powerful to help us heal. We need to believe our bodies have the innate ability to heal themselves no matter what treatment you pursue.
Then Kate told a story of her being electrocuted at her work and we’re taking it as a sign that she needs to quit her job. It’s high time let me tell ya. This job is very toxic for her. So we shared some ideas that might help you develop your passions and your dreams to help you pursue passions in your life!
