We jokingly began this Free For All Friday show talking about 1 armed drummers and 80’s hair bands. I don’t even remember how we got started talking about that.
But these shows are so much fun to do and we hope you enjoy them. Some thoughts moving forward are we might push the show to an hour and a half on this particular show. We usually have so much to talk about with lots of different topics so that’s something we’re considering.
Also we’d like to talk about some of the self experiments we’re toying with in our own health. For example Kate is considering doing a 7 day juice fast on only liquids. She’s considering drinking fresh vegetable juices, lemon water, reishi and chaga tea, green tea, coconut water, nut milks, kombucha and kefir. When you think about it, there are lots of liquids you from which to drink during a long juice fast.
Last time she was at day 3 and drank some bone broth and it really messed her stomach and digestion up. I get the same issue actually with chicken bone broths. It’s very strange. But she’s considering doing that and being able to share this information on our Free For All Friday show.
I’d like to do some enemas and talk about our experience with that. I also want to stock up again on products from Surthrival.com like the pine pollen, elk velvet antler and colostrum and then combine that with the One World Whey from Stephen Heuer and focus on building 15 lbs of muscle. Right now I’m 6 feet tall and weight about 170 and I’d like to get up to 185 with lean muscle.
So not only do we want to talk about our own personal experiences with health principles we’d like it to be more interactive also so you could call in and talk with us about what’s working or not working for you.
But in this particular show we talked about many different things…
We talked about sleep issues and how to correct them naturally. I gave some ideas such as using the program Flux that naturally and progressively diminishes the blue light frequency coming out of your computer screens. I combine that with low blue light glasses in the evenings. The blue light is what prevents your body from making the hormone melatonin. And without this hormone your body won’t be tired enough to fall asleep.
We also discusses some issues for eye support and whether or not rebounding is damaging for issues like glaucoma. We also gave some tips to visit the website of Dr. Jerry Tennant because he’s doing some amazing work with macular degeneration.
