We started off this show doing a short recap on any of the shows you might have missed lately. I feel show recaps are great for people because not all of us gets to hear all the shows but if I or we do a recap you can see if it’s something you might want to listen to.
Remember, you’re only one show or piece of information away from finding healing. So have an open mind when it comes to health and healing.
Then I shared a bunch of things I do each day to stay healthy. I have a growing list of things I do each day that help remain in good physical condition.
The daily health practices are something I adhere to often. I don’t always get to all of them but I do the best I can. I try to be very good with my diet. I try to eat a ketogenic diet. I do my best to lower sugars. I do have small amounts of fruit each morning on an empty stomach.
I do food combine so I’m very careful with how I mix foods together in order to enhance digestion as much as I can. I do my best to avoid eating food at least 4 to 5 hours before bed. I also follow what’s called intermittent fasting.
The hours I eat each day go from 10am to 6pm. From 6pm to 10am (16 hours) I don’t eat anything. I might have some water or some charcoal and clay but that’s it.
I also spend as much time outside as I can in the sun with no sun glasses on while being grounded with bare feet.
I meditate, exercise (lift heavy weights) 3 days a week, sit in my sauna each day and much more.
There’s a lot that I do each day to be healthy but to be honest, it’s not a chore. I really enjoy doing it and it makes me feel really good. The motivation for me is mostly I want to be the best version of myself as possible. I want to have as much energy and vitality as possible.
I want to age really well and be strong and flexible when I’m in my 90’s and beyond. A very small percentage of my motivation to be healthy is to prevent disease.
Obviously this is a motivation but a small motivation. I don’t want to focus on disease or illness in any way. What we focus on becomes reality.
So my focus is on becoming the strongest fullest expression of myself as possible. And to be honest I don’t even really think about health each day. I don’t dwell on it, I don’t focus on it. I just do my daily health practices while watching or listening to documentaries (not health related) I really enjoy and then get back to the work we do here at Extreme Health Radio.
Something Kate and I talk about a lot is focusing on relationships, having fun, finding and fulfilling our purpose and learning new things is what I’m passionate about. Being healthy just allows me to do the things that I love.
So health isn’t a big focus of mine and I don’t think it should be for any of us (unless our body is really sick and we need to make some major changes in order to recover).
Anyway I took a bunch of listener questions and share some ideas and stories that are working for us!
I hope you enjoy the show!
LISTENER QUESTIONS
Hi guys!
I’ve been a big fan of your show for some time now and I’m curious how you guys stay healthy? What are your protocols that you do each day? I (and I assume other listeners) would love to know!

Hello again,
First and foremost – thank you for asking my question to Patrick Durkin in episode # 528. It was really cool to hear it discussed on the air, and I’ve been filtering my spring water ever since 🙂
Next, and more importantly… I feel compelled to share some personal information with you – don’t worry, I won’t get too crazy!
For the last 7 years or so I’ve been struggling with some health and anxiety issues. Which came first the chicken or the egg? I don’t know, but it’s cyclical and synergistic. I’ve been to at least 10 different practitioners – western, eastern and everything in between.
I’ve had enough lab work to fill a few 3 inch binders. In the last year I’ve experience weight loss, hair thinning, swollen lymph nodes, lower extremity edema. No one has an answer. My current doc, who is relatively progressive and alternative-minded, is leaning towards thyroid / hormone issues. I’ve come right out and him him, on more than one occasion, ‘could it be cancer?’ He’s assured me that it’s not, but how does he know? I’m an optimist, but I’m also a realist. Today, I sent off my urine HCG test to Navarro Medical Clinic. In two to three weeks I’ll find out if my body has cancer. If it does, I will heal it naturally and I won’t be quiet about it either.
I’ve been listening to you and Kate for quite some time and I consider you the authority on alternative treatment options. I’m thankful to you both for exposing me to so many amazing things. Sharry Edwards was incredible, by the way! I’m trying to get my hands on a computer with Windows so I can use her applications. Anyhow, regardless of how things turn out, I just want you to know that your show gives me hope and often times hope is the most powerful medicine.
I’ll keep you posted on the results.

Hello Justin,
Congratulations and well done with your radio. 534 episodes. Thanks for doing this.
Our mother was diagnosed with Cancer in stomach, liver & lung. We had decided to not do conventional treatment therefore we started with a herb based immuno therapy treatment. Now hardly any doctors know or explore/ research on alternate treatments here which makes it a challenge for us to understand symptoms and changes in her body.
At the moment we don’t know how the meds are working. Actually I’m knot sure if it doing any good. They had claimed an improvement in appetite by the end of 25 days of treatment. It’s been almost a month and a half and no improvements really. Plus she has lost 2-3 kgs. Now that’s not a lot compared to 10-12 kgs that she lost a month prior to that. In addition the vomit episodes keep coming every 3-4 days.
Frankly, we got on to writing to you about it is because we are feeling kind of helpless and alone with no guidance around. Besides belief that prevails around is of biopsy & chemo.
Also we had found out about a intravenous of B17, Vit C, D3, and few other things that takes place in another city of India. But she only does these protocols and didn’t give us a sound of confidence. Not sure what to assess how to assess, what kind of emergencies we’ll face, what preparations we can make etc. It also involves Rick Simpson Oil protocol.
Hoping to receive extreme guiding light from extreme health 🙂
Wishing Wonder & Beauty

Hi Justin! This is Selena from Instagram. I actually heard of your podcast through my boss, Ron over at Newport Float. Love the show! Anyway, how do you think your Mom was cured? And can you think of anything off the top of your head that could help my Mom? Supplements, therapies, devices etc. At this time she is trying to decide whether or not to do a bone marrow biopsy. She feels like she is being pushed and rushed into it without fully understanding it. Lastly, would you recommend any doctor/practitioner that could possibly help her? Again, my mom has Acute Myeloid Leukemia and will be 66 years old.
Thank yo Thank you

Hi Justin,
Thank you for your interview with Dr John DeWitt. I enjoyed your interview with Dr DeWitt (even though he failed to mention the non-athletic concussion victims) but there is more to concussion treatment.
In January, we were read-ended and I am recovering from a concussion / traumatic brain injury. The ER’s solution and the neurologist’s solution was prescriptions. Luckily, I found an alternative treatment. This treatment was founded by another retired professional football player, Brian Jennings, who played for the 49ers for 13 years. After spending over $1 million in treating his own concussions over the years, Brian decided to help others. It is my understanding he took the therapies that worked for him personally and started his own company, Concussion Care Center, now called MindWellMed.
They start with an assessment and a functional brain map then they develop therapies specific to that patient’s needs – neurofeedback (I believe is what it’s called), nutrition, and chiropractic. My husband gives them credit for at least 80% of my improvement. I ALWAYS felt better after my treatments at MindWellMed. With the millions of brain injuries every year, this treatment needs to be available to people around the country.
I hope you contact MindWellMed and learn more about what they offer and maybe even interview Brian and Dr. Mladenoff, their chiropractor. Their phone number is 602-524-0222 and their website is www.mindwellmed.com.
Thank you for your time and consideration,
Lois M
