I don’t know why but recently I’ve felt compelled to put together a post for people to use as a resource in case they have a heart attack and what they can do about it immediately in the moment.
Obviously you have to take ultimate responsibility for your health and these are just suggestions and ideas I’ve picked up from different books and people I’ve listened to over the years. You can read more information I’ve picked up over the years on this page if you’re interested.
These are simply things that I would do if I were having a heart attack. In no way am I telling you what to do in your particular situation.
The things I’ll be listing below are for people who may or may not be alone at the time they have a heart attack. Ideally you’ll live a heart friendly lifestyle so you’ll never be in this situation.
So here are some things to consider doing if you feel like you’re having a heart attack:
- Take deep breaths and coughing. (See the story below)
- Take cayenne pepper, Magnesium Taurate or better yet have The Heart Attack Pack handy!
- According to Gilbert Renaud apply ice directly above each ear.
- According to Dr. Norman Walker author of Colon Health, apply intense pressure with your thumb directly on the heart access point on the bottom of your left foot. (See below)
- Apply magnesium oil and DMSO topically on the skin directly on your heart.
Gilbert Renaud from Recall Healing says that heart attacks always have to do with a loss of territory in someone’s life. I believe that he’s really onto something with that line of reasoning.
With that said I’m sure there’s a lot more one could do during the time of a heart attack and this list is by no means exhaustive. If you would love to offer some more suggestions please comment below.
Here’s the story that I mentioned in the very first point in the list above.
How To Survive A Heart Attack When Alone
Let’s say it’s 6.15pm and you’re going home (alone of course),…after an unusually hard day on the job. You’re really tired, upset and frustrated. Suddenly you start experiencing severe pain in your chest that starts to drag out into your arm and up into your jaw. You are only about five miles (8kms) from the hospital nearest your home. Unfortunately you don’t know if you’ll be able to make it that far. You have been trained in CPR, but the guy that taught the course did not tell you how to perform it on yourself..!!
Since many people are alone when they suffer a heart attack, without help, the person whose heart is beating improperly and who begins to feel faint, has only about 10 seconds left before losing consciousness.
However, these victims can help themselves by coughing repeatedly and very vigorously.A deep breath should be taken before each cough, and the cough must be deep and prolonged, as when producing sputum from deep inside the chest.
A breath and a cough must be repeated about every two seconds without let-up until help arrives, or until the heart is felt to be beating normally again. Deep breaths get oxygen into the lungs and coughing movements squeeze the heart and keep the blood circulating.
The squeezing pressure on the heart also helps it regain normal rhythm. In this way, heart attack victims can get to a hospital.Rather than sharing jokes please.. contribute by Sharing this which can save a person’s life!!!!
good advise for whom they live alone
